There are no known risks for most people. There are a few medical
conditions (such as pregnancy and cancer) which might preclude treatment
and other medical conditions (such as epilepsy, pacemakers and some
anti-depressants or steroidal medications) which would necessitate
minor modifications of the treatment regimen.
All clients and staff wear safety goggles to insure that the laser
can’t injure an eye.
The most common side effect noted by clients is some instances of
“dry-mouth.”
All of Breathe Laser Therapy’s technicians are Certified Laser
Technicians. Breathe Technicians all have the benefit of working with
a licensed physician as a key resource in their training, development
and direction.
We recommend that you try to refrain from smoking at least 4 hours
before your session. 10 hours is optimal. Other than that, there
is no specific preparation needed beyond a sincere desire to stop
smoking.
We will be asking a series of questions regarding your health history,
including a list of current or recent medical conditions and of
the medications, supplements and vitamins that you are currently
taking.
We may ask you to remove some jewelry from your ears, wrists and
hands during the session.
There is no need to disrobe any articles of clothing for the session.
Your initial appointment will take about an hour, including the
time you’ll need to do the paperwork. We recommend that you
schedule a follow-up treatment (included in the cost) within 2-5
days after the first. This second appointment will take about 30
minutes.
Yes. Most clients feel very relaxed from their session, and some
even feel a very mild sense of elation, but there are no known effects
that would interfere with driving.
You will feel the laser being pressed next to your skin in the same
way that you would feel a pen touching your skin during your laser treatment to quit smoking.
There is no burning or other sensations from the use of the lasers.
Most of our clients find the treatment very relaxing.
No. We use Class 3 lasers, which won’t burn, cut, or harm
your skin.
We will recommend several tips and techniques that many have found
helpful in becoming a former smoker. Most tips will revolve around
very minor changes in habits, especially for the first week after
quitting smoking.
You should not use any Nicotine Replacement Therapies (such as nicotine
patches or nicotine gums) for at least two months (and preferably
not at all) after you have had any therapy.
Most clients experience very little weight gain using Breathe Laser
Therapy’s methods, in comparison to other smoking cessation
programs.

insurance carriers direct pay for Breathe Laser Therapy services,
but some have done partial reimbursements on the back end. We will
supply you with a form that you can submit to your insurer after your
